Located in the Berkeley hills at 59 Arlington Avenue in Kensington, the Kensington Community Center is available for rental by public and private groups on Saturdays and Sundays. A four hour rental time is required. Wine, beer and champagne may be served by permit.
The Rental Facility Includes:
- Large social hall with fireplace
- Adjoining side rooms
- Full service kitchen
- Outdoor garden & barbecue
- Amphitheater
Parking is available in the lower parking lot and designated parking spaces on Kensington Park grounds.
Youth and Teen Events - Sponsor must provide one adult over 21 years of age for every ten people attending the function.

For more information or how to reserve the center, please contact the Kensington Police Protection & Community Service District office at (510) 526-4141, Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 3:00pm
Tennis Court Reservations
Reservations are taken for weekends and holidays only: the earliest reservation is for 9:00 am for the east tennis court. Fees are $2.00 per hour for Kensington residents and $5.00 per hour for non residents. To reserve a court, call the KCC office at:

Picnic Tables
Kensington Park picnic tables and barbecue pits are located in the glade near the tennis courts. Picnic
areas are available on a first come first-served basis.
